How the service works
The fastest visit begins with sorting at home. Keep free depot materials separate from weighed garbage, and secure the vehicle’s load. A mixed or unprepared load can require a different route, extra unloading or refusal of an item that needs advance approval.
The recycling-only entrance is not the same as the public waste scale. Registered commercial vehicles have another scale arrangement. Use the posted signs and staff directions for your load, and check the live queue camera linked by the city before travelling.

Exceptions and help
Where do paint and light bulbs go?
Partly filled paint cans, CFLs and fluorescent tubes go to household hazardous waste. Empty dry metal paint cans use the metal area. Sort these before arriving.

What about tires and yard waste?
The public tire bin has no surcharge. Yard waste uses the signed area beyond the public drop-off route. Follow site directions rather than mixing these into garbage.
