How the service works
Calendar parking keeps one side of a residential street available to plows. It is not the same rule as an ordinary parking meter, a no-stopping sign or a priority route’s overnight window. Those other restrictions can still matter at the same location.
The snow page also contains an undated storm update. This guide uses the permanent FAQ and directs readers to the live status map, rather than presenting that old “today” update as current activity. Thaw/refreeze conditions can require additional sanding even after a road has been plowed.

Using the service
What hours apply to priority routes?
Priority-route restrictions use 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. The city’s snow guidance explains that early-morning clearance needs parked vehicles out of the way. Follow the exact posted route sign.

Does an odd house number tell me which side is allowed?
Use the restriction sign, not a guess from house numbers. The city’s example is an odd calendar date on a side signed “no parking on ODD days,” which can lead to a ticket.

Where should I look for a restriction sign?
Signs are generally at the start of a block. Look before parking; a long unsigned stretch between that sign and the car does not by itself cancel the block’s rule.

When do priority and residential streets get plowed?
The general snow FAQ starts priority work at 5 cm accumulated snow, usually from 2 a.m. Local streets follow priority routes when more than 10 cm has accumulated. A live storm can change the operational sequence.

Exceptions and help
Who clears sidewalks and to what standard?
The city clears sidewalks after accumulations of 5 cm or more, to at least a snow-pack condition, and sands them. This is not a promise of completely bare pavement everywhere.

Will city crews remove my driveway windrow?
No. Driveway snow and the windrow across the entrance are the resident’s responsibility, including the driveway portion on city property. The city does not offer a driveway snow-removal service.
